Boss93.7fmis a private radio station that
commenced on the first day of June 2008. The station has an array of competent
professionals who aspire to make a name not only for themselves but the
broadcast industry as a whole.
Located at Adum within the First Eye Plaza, on the Osei Tutu I Avenue, here in
Kumasi;

OUR MISSION
To become a market leader in the broadcasting industry by employing the
right technology and ultimately revolutionalize the current trends in fm
broadcasting in Ghana by delivering programs in a matured and objective manner
in other to ensure that radio becomes a positive agent of change, this we will
do through a well motivated workforce.

OUR VISION
Boss 93.7 fm has set its sight on delivering fresh and compelling programs
relevant to our targeted audience all around the Ashanti Region. The station
will produce broadcast that will impact on listeners by talking about what
matters…..REAL LIFE. To this end our program formats are designed to provide an
alternative to what is presented on other radio stations in the Ashanti Region.

TECHNOLOGY
BOSS fm is employing cutting edge technology through state of the art
Broadcasting equipment; 5000 watts the station has adopted the use of the
internet as well applicable and acceptable software. The station has designed
and hosted its web address on the internet portraying the rich culture of
Asanteman and other corporate interest that has a relationship with boss fm.
This will enable people within and beyond Asanteman appreciate events in Kumasi
and by extension Ghana on daily basis.

PROGRAMMING PHILOSOPHY
The idea behind Boss 93.7fm’s
programming philosophy is to air the type of format that will attract a sizable
enough piece of the audience demographic to satisfy our advertisers and meet
all monetary targets. Boss 93.7fm has adopted the full service (FS) format. The
full service format will attempt to provide our mostly middle-age listeners a
mix of all programming genres- music, news, sports, talk shows and general
information features. Boss 93.7fm; through its programming would be a ‘one
stop’ shopping for any discerning listener who would want a bit of everything.
The content of Boss 93.7fm (programs to be aired on air which includes songs,
news, sports, views, discussions and advertisement) will reflect the above
policies and objectives of the Boss 93.7fm with our target audience.

OUR COVERAGE AREAS
We operate with a five thousand kilowatt digital transmitter on an eight bay
Omni-directional multifunctional antennae. We produce a distinct stereo sound
covering 180 Km radius (i.e. the whole of Ashanti region, major towns like
Nkawkaw, Mpreaso in the Eastern region, Techiman, Goaso, Sunyani, Kenyasi in
the Brong Ahafo region, Assin Fosu, Dunkwa on Offin in the Central region and parts of the Western region).
