The Ministry of Health has shot down media publications inferring that it is harbouring workers who are over the statutory retirement age of 60.
According to the Ghanaian Times newspaper of Tuesday, there are over 600 government workers aged between 60 and 110 years who are still on the Ghana government’s payroll.
According to the paper, two ministries – Education and Health – accounted for the numbers.
